They claim to do it for functionality since it would get too beat up as a drift car; I don't buy it. I would respect it if it had scar marks where they were constantly beating panels straight and spray-bombing it to keep it looking respectible but that car is a joke. |

So with any form of motor sport shit happens I know & there will be associated cost to repair & replace items due to wear & damage, to say of it's just for drifting or the track purposes is a pretty poor excuse to leave a car in this condition. Some people don't have the budget to include high dollar fixes, but this company is not in that situation. You can say it was saved from the junkyard, but it also could have been done up better in the same regard. To each his own I guess, just not for me.

It's the owner's car, up to him what he does. But it wasn't 'saved' from anything. Crushing it was just postponed a bit.
Originally something to get some attention in the moronic drift judging pageants, I fear this will be the next styling fad for the local racer boys. Few will actually have a drivetrain worth talking about. But it instantly makes their POS stylish, and anyone can make bare metal rust.

I always like to be nice, but since I am unlikely to ever run into these guys, I'm comfortable saying, "what the hell"? I never understood young middle class American boys wearing their pants down past their ass crack either...
Better to crush it. Makes the rest more valuable. Maybe there are a few useable parts that could help out somebody's 7 being rebuilt? When people die, they often leave "body parts" to help others still alive. Gordon

That thing looks like shit...and not the type of shit that's the product of neglect, the type of shit that someone obviously wasted a decent amount of time doing.....whats sad is that it probably could've been decent .
For the record I appreciate the rat rod style, but where this car failed was the execution, not the planning. |
