The himni racing is a cheaper alternative to the bazai racing mounts. I think they sell poly mounts as well.
Rx-7fetish: my gf doesn't have an option if she don't like my ride she might like the sidewalk better hahaha. infernosg: true I forgot about the cold start and the vibration. So regardless of what I get it will have more vibration than stock. Hmmmmmmm... I think I will just go with the poly's. I think Himni has ploy ones anyone have experience with them?

Engine / trans mounts are designed to isolate vibration, period.
Stock mounts are designed to isolate in compression and tension. Metal mounts are not designed to do this. Most of the aftermarket mounts that have a bolt through a block of (insert favorite material here) only isolate in compression and not tension. WHY? Cause these are cheap ass replacements, period. They are easier to machine and make. Anyone can drill a hole through a block of material and slap a bolt and nut on it. No street car should need anything other than stock or upgrade Mazda Comp mounts, period. Go argue about how much more power you're putting down to the ground - the diff mounts all flex still yet unless you took care of those too? What about the crappy shocks and springs? Wow, I just love it when people claim - yeah, I put down more power cause I got stiffer mounts! The car got too many bushings and dampers that allows the engine's power to get loss due to flex - hell, the whole chassis flexes itself. So, unless you're building a drag car with a full cage, stupid ass stiff mounts don't do jack except for add noise, vibration, and possibly loosen and break stuff on the car. Hey, if you're happy with that...it's your car. -Ted |

Ted is 100% right, especially with these two points.
