Just some final welds in the morning and the rear cross is finished

Ok onto tonight's action

The main cross is now in and fully welded all that's left is to finish up on the harness bars

Then I can move onto the front of the cage and doors

Little update

Made a start on the front struts which tie into the cage

Prep from under the car all helps for a good weld



Can't believe I'm doing this to my sexy engine bay



Front leg cut and tacked all ready for the full weld round when I pull her out also plates now fully welded

Onto the door bars will finish up tomorrow, then I might even be ready for some paint soon

Ok I got the cage finished on Sunday and also managed to get some paint on the front suspension struts

Cage is etch primed ready for paint





And the front struts painted

Power day only just got in from work

But the results this afternoon and tonight speak for themselves

Last night I made the gussets up





Ran out of proper masking paper a while ago so this had to do lol









Then onto the red

Been slow progress this weekend had a fair bit to do

But I have made a start on the re-wiring and tidy up

Ps the battery will be changed out once the car is tested and running

Ok update time been a bit slow as of late being mega busy at TG and getting the online store running again

Brakes you need them and Jon @ MinotaurRacing once again helped out with a much better pedel box, much like the OBP design but Jon's box is stronger and also includes mounts for the brake and clutch switches

I will update soon with photos of the box but for now here are a few shots of the pots mounted to the dash bar

Not long now I have a few more things to finish off I also need to source a brake bias gauge kit I do like the SPA gauge but way to pricey for me

Ok updates

Progress has been very slow due to work just going mental we have been working closely with Alex law driver for team dojo in pro drift BDC this has been taking up most of my time of late.

Also me and James are rebuilding the RX8 engine so that's also another thing going on in the background lol

And the RX8 Engine is out rear bearing fail

So new rear housing will be coming next week we will then be resurfacing them and fitting RA super apex seals along with a good old port tidy and some exhaust work.

So I thought an update was in order I've just been mega busy this year

So I've not had a lot of time to work on my own car but now she is ready as ever and in 15 days will be travelling to the nurburgring again for a weeks fun time

Here is what I've been up to all summer
