JDM are not new motors. This is really one of my peaves, people come in with blown motors and they say that they just installed a new motor. This relates to MANA rebuilds or JDM's. The problem with jdm motors is that they are sitting for who knows how long when pulled then they can sit in a container on a ship for 6 months. The worst thing for a used round motor. Just about every one that I have taken apart has been pretty beat up internally. I will only warranty labor on my motors.
As you said though, a 35k core is better than the 210K, that motor is a good mud anchor. Will not be much of anything in it that will be useable. That is if you are one of the lucky ones as proz07 states.
