Default S2 wiring questions

Alright, so i have a few questions i need verified.

1. There is a White w/ Red Stripe wire with a eye hole connector that is connected into the White w/ Red stripe wiring coming off the main fuse in the engine bay. I have no idea what it goes to. I don't think it should go to the alternator because that that will be connecting to the other side of the fuses. Any thoughts?

2. For the megasquirt, i am going to put in the required fuses by using the OEM fuse block. I plan on reusing slots that are currently unused. Case in point, the fuel pump, cruise, and possibly the meter back. I want verify that the "meter back" fuse is the gauge cluster back lighting. Also I need to verify that the wires in the fuse block are what i think they are.

For the fuel pump:
There is small Black w/ Lt. Green strip wire and a large Black w/ white striped wire. Is the larger wire a ground or a 12v power?

For cruise:
There is a small brown wire and a large black w/ white stripe wire. Again, which is ground and power? This larger black w/ white striped it tied also the power window fuse.

The Meter Back:
Has a small green w/ yellow stripe wire and large black w/ yellow wire. Again, which is ground, which is power?

Okay i think i found the right wiring manual, the smaller wires are all going FROM the fuse to the component. The larger wires connect back to the ign. switched power source.

Still need to figure out issue #1 and what the meter back fuse is.

so then it would charge the battery through the main fuse. Interesting. But since my battery is relocated to the rear, wouldn't just running the alt to the other incoming side of the fuse block work, since i also have the alt connected to the battery. I think that is how i worked my old yellow Rx-7

wired up everything except the backlighting for gauges and it has all worked so far. So i think all is well. going to look into the diagrams for the source of the backlighting and dimming.

the parking lights and the dash lights run on the same system. Usualy on most cars the lights ground through the switch but I can't remember if the rx-7 works like that though. I'll look at that right now.
