UPDATE!
![]() Ok, so I got the car fully assembled, rust holes in the floor and rear wheel well cut & painted, everything is hooked up, I just need to figure out where these 3 ramdom clips go, fill oil, coolant, gas, and pray pray pray that it starts up! Right now I need to figure out where these 3 wires go to, then hook up the battery and check that the wiring harness doesnt catch fire. After that, if the car runs, all I will need to do is order brakes, paint my calipers, get an exhaust welded up, and weld in the holes I cut out in the floor during rust repair. Man, this thing has been a lot of work, and a lot of money, but I'm happy it's almost drivable. Here's some pics: When I first got the engine in: ![]() Tired messing around with the exhaust, but I think I'm just going to have the shop weld one for me, the one my friend and I tried making wasn't that great. ![]() Just took these tonight with a camera stand: ![]() ![]() The interior currently (not done with it yet): ![]() Custom REAL billiard shift knob: ( I got the idea from the 8 ball shifter, but thought that was too common, so I would drill and tap the 7 ball instead: ![]() ![]() I had what I thought was a "bit" of rust in the primered area, and it turned out to be a TON! I cut it all out of course, follwed by a wire wheel and a grinder: ![]()
