Red silicone sealant removal?
The previous owner of an engine sealed all the intake manifold gaskets with some kind of red silicone sealant. This shit is like glue. I need to remove the manifold but I can't get it to move at all.
Suggestions? |

Gasket remover and a scraper. You can also wire wheel it off.

By reading this it sounds like u cant get the manifold off of the engine..
get a hammer and tap the intake off the engine.. otherwise spray the edge down with "goo gone" or brake cleaner and that should soften it enough that a hammer will get it off |
