I wouldn't make them as low as they can go. There is a thread on the other forum in the suspension section that Howard Coleman did, that talks about ride height, I can't remember what it was. I would just make sure the car is level left to right, with you sitting in it, and then go get an alignment, preferably with you in it, if you want an exact alignment. If not just set it level and get it aligned without you in it and it should be fine. I'd leave the rear alittle bit higher than the front, but not more than 1/4-1/2in.
