2016 updates! What's new at LMS-EFI.
Here at LMS-EFI we're excited by the prospects offered by the new year. That excitement really began in the 4th quarter of last year when we brought in a new partner to the business and a man that will help grow our wire harness production capability. It's no secret we struggled to meet demand in 2015. With Jason coming in to work exclusively with wires, we're certain to provide better turn around times going forward. In addition, Jason was brought in because his attention to detail and ability to produce quality work was a known attribute. I'm not too proud to admit, he's making me step up my own game and the LMS-EFI product as whole a has improved with him coming on board. So, welcome Jason!
Next, we're adding a new level to our harness prep offerings. We'll now break those levels down into 3 general categories. We'll have S-Spec, R-Spec, and R-Spec+. The new level is S-Spec and these harnesses are being offered as a budget conscience alternative. These harnesses will feature PET braided covering instead of the Raychem DR-25. This covering still offers great heat and abrasion resistance, but allows us to take much of the production cost out of the harness itself and offer a harness that has great functionality and a lower price. We'll still be offering the same custom approach with each harness, where each harness is built to work for the particular needs of each customer. The R-Spec range will now offer some new standard features that will also make it a great value. All R-Spec looms will now use mil-spec M22759/16 Tefzel wire exclusively. In the past, if we were building a Haltech harness for example, we would use Haltech's long flying lead harness and their auto-spec PVC coated wire as the basis for that build. No more. Every R-Spec harness will now be built from scratch using the superior Tefzel wire. This wire has superior properties of heat resistance and conductivity. The value comes in the fact that we can price our Tefzel harness competitively with the Haltech supplied loom and we can now offer an overall better product at a similar cost. All R-Spec looms will now feature concentric twisting technique for superior flexibility and strain relief and will be covered in Raychem DR-25. The R-Spec+ range will add molded Raychem boots at all applicable junctions instead of the standard ATUM double wall shrink used in the standard R-Spec version. We're now offering Tefzel flying lead kits for Haltech, Syvecs, Motec, and soon Microtech ECUs. These are available in 8ft and 10ft lengths. They feature the same M22759/16 wire used in our R-Spec looms as well as M27500 shielded wire for all appropriate circuits. Prices range between $340 and $420 without a power distribution box. We also now have a IGN ignition coil mount kit available for all engines. This mount is targeted at racers as it requires the removal of the AC and PS. The bracket mounts to the front iron and front cover. It can be used on all FB, FC, and FD engines. It also works on the FC in combination with the FFE trigger kit. Price is $95 for the complete kit. Lastly, we've made a great investment over the last year or so in our stock of Tefzel wire and Raychem heat shrink products. We're now offering both at competitive pricing. We've added Raychem DR-25 to our website and plan to add molded boots and Tefzel wire at some point. In the mean time, email or call us if you have any harness supply needs.

Why wasn't Jason there to do my harness last year?! LOL I'm kidding of course. You did a fantastic job, the harness looks so good, and just the install overall is impressive. I can vouch, Chris does top notch work, and I imagine Jason does too if Chris is this impressed.

I know. Not sure what the deal is. I can see them sometimes, sometimes not. Same issue on another site. I'll work on getting it straight later today.

I fat fingered the post. That's why they weren't visible. I could see them on my PC because they were in the cache. In short, the links are fixed.
