After waiting for 35 years I have purchased my own RX-8 to re-experience the days of my youth as a Go-Kart sprint racer[1960's-70's]. Having driven, repairing and loving the wankel since my first hands on contact with them, I had been afraid to own one due to the fear of self control while driving it!!! No one has ever really full-filled the thrill of driving until they wind up the tach while glancing in the rear view mirror at the 4 cycle piston driven menu of "other" sports cars. I f anyone ever drives through New York and spots a Zooms license plate, that will be me driving, the guy with the smile on!!!
