Welcome. As far as the E6 Haltech it depends on where you want to go with the car. It is kind of dated, but if you're not going wild with the engine build it should work fine. It's better than some of the ECUs out there. We have some people here that are very knowledgeable about them. You'll get less hate mail from some quarters
 with the E6X than a MegaSquirt or MicroTech.
