For Sale: 2000 Chevrolet Impala
For Sale:
2000 Chevrolet Impala 107,500 miles Clean, no lien title. Engine: 3400cc (3.4L) V6 Transmission: 4 speed automatic Since March of 2011, these parts are new (with mileage when they were replaced): Windshield Outer Tie rod Ends; Eagle (79579) Front/Rear springs/struts; Monroe Sensotrack (87750) Tires; Michelin HydroEdge Low Rolling Resistance (87750) Drivers front lower control arm bushing (87762) Passenger Front wheel bearing; Precision (92000) Inner Tie-Rod Ends and Belllows (95636) Coolant Flush/Fill; Peak (95855) Rack and Pinion Steering Gear; flushed fluid (97522) ATF filter, seal, and fluid; Valvoline (97714) Spark Plugs; AC Delco Platiunum (97881) Spark Plug Wires; BWD (97881) Rear brake rotors/pads; BBR/Wagoner Thermo Quiet (98845) Exhaust Resonator (98845) Serpintine Belt; Gates (106328) Front brake pads/rotors; Wagoner ThermoQuiet/Bosch Quiet Cast (106328). I have meticulously maintained this vehicle. It gets an oil change every 5000 miles with full synthetic oil (oil light normally comes on between 7000 and 8000 miles with my driving habits). Any parts that are worn (or I perceive to be worn) get replaced. It has started every time I have turned the key, and it is very clean. I purchased this with 66000 miles on it in May of 2010 (Previous owner was the mother of one of my mom's co-workers....true little-old-lady's car). I have full service and fuel economy records, starting the day that I purchased the vehicle. I have seen fuel economy on the freeway as high as 32.5mpg (with the cruise set at 65mph). At 78mph I normally see between 28 and 29mpg. My mostly-city driving has averaged 22.81mpg since I purchased the vehicle (as reported by my Excel spreadsheet). If you would like to see my maintenance and fuel economy Excel spreadsheet, e-mail me and I'll send you a copy. Here is my Fuelly page: http://www.fuelly.com/driver/jawhitehead/impala This is an extremely reliable vehicle, suitable for anyone. Very safe and reliable. It is due for an oil change before I sell it, and it will have one once someone purchases the vehicle (If I remember correctly I have 5 quarts of Pennzoil Platinum and a Mobil 1 filter). The price is $4000. I am willing to accept offers. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions. Thanks for looking! -Jim |
