Well, the 6x9 speakers are nice, and I got a nice head unit I'm going to put in after I get it running right. When I meant "Box" I was talking about some kind of support for the speakers, not a "sub" box by any means. So if I just find a way to put in the wood, the distance between the magnets and the sheetmetal wont matter? Even if it's 1/2"~ 1/4"?
