The oil pan is already off...
You really need to redo the seal in between the front oil cover and the front iron. If not, you will be rewarded with an oil leak where the front oil cover meets the front iron meets the oil pan. If you don't mind the dripping oil, then no biggie... If you want your engines to be oil free underneath, then you need to reseal everything properly. -Ted |

if your that far. Might as well do the whole thing. Personally I would not take
an engine partly apart, to many chances when your almost there anyways. That’s like the fat kid sitting in front of a piece of cake, and then decides to go on a diet. It’s never going to work!
