I have Ultra power in me.
|
Good power soucre for Gauge.
I have a PLX wideband that I was planing on installing today. I was wondering where I could wire it up besides the cig lighter. I already have a Gauge hooked up there and I don't want to add any more to it. Also what wire is the O2 sensor for the ecu? I would like to mount the control box inside the car and I am not sure if I have a connect issue with the wiring from the stock O2 to the ECU. It is a S4 base with a JDM turbo motor with a 332 ecu and the N/A wiring harness.

Add a fuse. Just run a new dedicated wire.

Do like My5ABaby says, run a dedicated wire from the battery, fused of course, but to an automotive 30 amp relay. Run the signal wire to activate the relay from your cigarette lighter feed and run your wideband and your gauge from that relay. Much cleaner and the safe way of doing it - widebands can draw a bit of power because of the O2 heater.

If you plug it into the correct slot it won't be on all the time. When in the car I think it's the bottom couple of rows (on the right in this pic).
