FWIW, rebuilt 2nd gen ABS pumps can be found, but they ain't cheap, at like $600 a pop. My guess is rebuilt 3rd gen pumps can be found too. I ended up doing the ABS bypass job on my FC, but for fun I decided to take apart my old ABS pump to see how it works. The 2nd gen pump has 2 horizontally opposed pump pistons that were the only parts that needed to be sealed. Each piston had two of these rubber seals on them. These seals are similar to O-rings, but have a different cross section - looks sort of like a cloverleaf, and they are called quad rings. I had no luck finding these oddball seals anywhere at the time, and since the piston bores were showing signs of surface corrosion, I figured it wasn't worth rebuilding anyway.
