Some coilover systems can adjust the lower perch so that it clears the wheel lip / tire.
In which case, you'd get the added clearance. I dunno what the OP was using? If you're using stock-type struts / springs or similar, you cannot do this. A 17" x 9.0", +24 will hit the lower perch / spring on a stock-type strut / spring. If you're running either the Tein S-Tech or Tanabe GF210 springs, you're going to even have worse clearance problems. -Ted |
