http://www.rsmotorsport.com.au/techn...yota_Hilux.pdf

5x114.3 1375mm ( drum cover to drum cover )
and 1350 mm axle to axle

RN10-15-18-20-25 diffs have 940mm spring platform centres and 60mm wide spring platforms
and a 67mm wheel spigot diameter

--------------------

RN40 Solid Axle (leaf) G142: 8.0", 4.87:1, 2 pinions, Open
5x114.3 1410mm drum to drum

hiace
YH50 Solid Axle (leaf) G162: 8.0", 5.28:1, 2 pinions, Open
5x114.3 1470mm drum to drum

=====================

if wanting clutch LSD ( four pinion ) centre
soarer
MZ20 Double Wishbone G295: 8.0", 4.10:1, 4 pinions, Clutch LSD
5x114.3

and for a supra torsion centre ( the end code is a 9 )

JZA70 Double Wishbone G299: 8.0", 4.10:1, 0 pinions, Torsen LSD
5x114.3

or

JZA70 Double Wishbone G319: 8.0", 3.90:1, 0 pinions, Torsen LSD
5x114.3
note :
the torsens require bearing mods to fit into early and non 4wd housings

many US ute equivs use the F series ( 7.5 inch ) diff unless a tacoma or a v6

4wd diffs in same years are 20mm shorter than 2wd
- ie,,, 4wd rn40 diff =1390 mm

6 stud axles can be easily modded to 4 stud old school without welds, lathe the diameter to suit the s2/3 disc hub and lathe off the wheel spigot
and lathe scribe the new 4 x 110 mm or 4 x 114 mm PCD

rx7 use the 1470mm hiace van diffs,, or the RN40's with offset wheels
and oldschool r100, rx2,3 use the RN10-25 series diffs
rx4 would use RN40 series or RN20's with offset wheels
