hi
have a home brew toyota stout/hilux G series diff ( s2 rx7 discs ) in my rx2 ( 1970ish 4wd stout 1350 mm wide and 6 stud from factory ) http://www.rsmotorsport.com.au/techn...yota_Hilux.pdf all about the aussie G series hilux diffs and what ratios to expect from reading the build plate Quote:
the torsens require bearing mods to fit into early and non 4wd housings many US ute equivs use the F series ( 7.5 inch ) diff unless a tacoma or a v6 4wd diffs in same years are 20mm shorter than 2wd - ie,,, 4wd rn40 diff =1390 mm 6 stud axles can be easily modded to 4 stud old school without welds, lathe the diameter to suit the s2/3 disc hub and lathe off the wheel spigot and lathe scribe the new 4 x 110 mm or 4 x 114 mm PCD rx7 use the 1470mm hiace van diffs,, or the RN40's with offset wheels and oldschool r100, rx2,3 use the RN10-25 series diffs rx4 would use RN40 series or RN20's with offset wheels |
