26C and feels like "29C". Come on, that's mild! I've got 29C and "feels like 35" down here in Okinawa! And this is a day when the sun's not out!

I lived in Okinawa from 2000 to 2003, stationed on Kadena AB. I bought an FC when I was there but it was junk so I never got it running lol. A lot of my buddies had FCs they would drag on 58 though. Had another friend that had a first gen, can't remember if it was SA or FB, but it had the rotor shaped wheels on it, SUPER clean. And another friend had an FD right before I left.
I had an S13 Silvia for the last couple years I was there too but it was stock. I will say though, there were quite a few high HP cars when I was there though. And I do remember it being hot and muggy as shit in Okinawa during the summer too LOL, especially when a typhoon was coming and we were in our wet weather gear that didn't breathe at all, in the pouring rain putting all the equipment in hangars lol. Yeah there's a bit of power here. Quickest foreigner-owned car is probably an R32 pushing about 900rwhp. It's full weight with working AC and everything too, boosting about 2.2-2.5 bar I think.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn. That is pretty impressive. I am only out here for a couple more weeks sadly. But I will be back in April in an attempt to open a new business and stay for good.
Looking at picking up an FC or FD. I have not really decided. Probably an FC cause I feel bad about beating on my FD already, plus I will be doing a lot of drifting. We will see though. Yeah Okinawa sucks as far as weather goes, cause I fucking haaaate humidity and all that shit. Tokyo isnt all THAT bad. Its about the same where I live in the states. Its just uncomfortable. rofl |

It is impressive, although not my car I should note. Prior to this FC I had a '92 original Mitsubishi Evo which was a daily driver and drag racer (http://soldave.ismysite.co.uk/biginjapan/about-my-car)
Enjoy the rest of your trip. Humidity is a killer, for me and for horsepower.

Back to a Rotary again

What's going on folks. I live in Atsugi, Japan. Just got here a few months ago. Used to own a 87 TII back in the states but sold it before I moved here. I currently am looking for an FD either out here or back home to start a new project. I am a Nissan lover at heart but I can't seem to stay away from these rotaries! Something about them I love. Anyways, just wanted to shout out and let you guys know i'm here with you.
