You just trying to convince me not to convert to black interior. Haha. I hate watching it sit at my moms doing nothing. Money needs to come in soon before i die.

Going to black interior is not easy. I just switched from S4 grey to S5 black (only S4 black was on 10th AEs and good luck finding that). You have to use the A/B pillar trim from the S4 and paint it. You also can't use the S5 headliner as it's skinnier. In addition, I had to add a ground under the dash as the S5 dash has 1 less than the S4 (or at least mine). Finally, you have to source S4 black seat belts (only in 10th AE... good luck).

If I were to do it again I'd use all S4 stuff and just paint and/or dye it.

Yeah, surprisingly the dye stuff works pretty decent on the carpet and other things.

Had a friend that had some dye they picked up at the parts house. No idea the brand, but it looked very decent.

Yeah Shiz has already warned me of the perils of finding black interior. But all I have is time with it, so I can start collecting. Who knows, I may keep the blue interior. Time will tell. What did you do for the headliner? Just paint it?

Just keep them blue and use that money on your suspension and minor upgrades. You'll need them if you want to keep up in auto x

I had a blue/grey (really faded so not sure) headliner in there that I used the fabric dye on. It sunk in and didn't do the greatest job at dying it. It was kind of a faded black look. I ended up painting it with spray paint and that turned out looking good but feels crunchy if you touch it. It wasn't the best decision, but it does for now. It's not like I touch it.

I used Rustoleum Fabric and Vinyl Dye. All I had to dye was the (blue) center arm rest but it turned out looking better than the original black dash.

I used satin black on the plastic and it looks great and is holding up great thus far. I ended up painting 1/2 of the black pieces anyways due to fading. There's probably about 4 pieces that didn't get dyed/painted.
