Default Hi there

My name is Kit. I'm currently from the California Central Valley. No, this does not make me a "valley girl" though I can put on a really good act if I have to. I'm also not here for much longer as I'm moving out of state.

I'm really more of a car fan than a rotary fan. Though, saying rotary fan makes me think of an actual electric fan. Most of my family has been into cars. Both of my parents are mechanics and I grew up loving classic cars thanks to my Step-dad. I also know more about cars than most women.

And now we come to the real reason here. Remember that whole moving out of state thing I mentioned. Well, I have a 1979 Mazda RX7 in storage that I need to sell before I leave. I've been trying word of mouth and things like craigslist, but it's not working. So I started to look for other venues and here I am. As soon as I figure out where to post it I'll be putting the information up here.

traynham- I'm moving up north because I have an opportunity to go back to school. Also, it's where my boyfriend's job is taking him. Besides that, it's just time for a change. There's pics on the classified I just linked to.

I know what it is...Cali is just too restrictive with the stupid-ass car laws, by CARB mostly, right? LOL That's one reason I never wanna live there.

Currently driving a '96 Buick Regal. Not as fun to drive as the RX7, but she was free and gets good gas mileage so I can't complain

I'm going back to school to study business management. For several years now I've wanted to open my own business and I'm the type that doesn't trust someone else to run it for me. Besides, if I run it myself I can't blame anyone else if it doesn't work right?

true..true... just make sure that after you get a business up and going, you can teach someone to run it just as well as you (if not better) and then you charge them a percentage to either run it while you go start another... or so they can go start another =P hahahaha...

i've seen a handful of friends work their ass off every day because they have the same idea...

That's because you're friends picked something hard

I already know what I want to open, and it will practically run itself. It helps that I have a ton of friends who want to come work for me cheaply just to get in on it

^I thought for a while about opening a shop to rebuild rotaries and build rotary cars after I retire from the AF, but then I realized that I like my hobby and if I turn it into a job I'll probably lose it as a hobby LOL.

That can happen. But on the other hand, if you work doing what you love it feels less like work. I think it's trying to find a middle ground.
