Something you need to know:
-if the insurance company does not pay you for a specific aftermarket part, you have the right to remove it from the vehicle.

Also, there are RX-8's all over the place for sale around here! How much are you willing to spend? I know of one for sale in N Alabama that is meticulously maintained, and a smoking good deal.

The one with the 'transmission' issues, is it an auto or manual? If it is a manual, I can fix it in 5 minutes.
