Nantahala Village room discount

As has been well documented in other threads, there was some considerable confusion about the "one night free with purchase of two nights AND 20% off for early reservations" program. I called Nantahala the other day just to double-check the status of my very early reservation. They had the free night recorded, but weren't reflecting the 20% off part of the deal. They fixed the problem very quickly, saving me approx. $56. Somehow I doubt this would have been caught if I hadn't asked, so anyone else with early reservations should probably confirm that their deal is what it was supposed to be.

On a side note, the fellow I dealt with is apparently a car nut, (favors BMW 5 series) and we got into a wide ranging conversation on several topics, during which he told me the total value of the discounts issued by Nantahala Village for DGRRX would end up being between ten and fifteen thousand dollars.
