i have sidelined this project for ahilw im going focus my time on biulding my 89 740 745Tic wagon intl a 2.6L stroker 16V DOHC tubro monster tow car.

yea i figure i'll run on the volvo project (Mizuki) till she is done or till Salina's motor goes pop.

well guys i've decided Salina is getting a modifyed volvo T5 motor. right now i have a B5244S that got from my lil bros 93 850 GLT which is the N/A model sadly the block is about .150 out of spec so i will be getting darton MID sleeves a GT2871R or GT28RS i'll get pics of the motor when i find my camera now is the biuld of the motor/tranni then i'll start DD mizuki when i am ready to swap the T5 in/

se ticked over 198,900 yesterday she now has a S4 waterpump,thermostate,and thermostat housing(my old S5 exploded will post vid later

HVLP? The internetz says that gravity fed is better. Since I dont know shit other than that, can you please elaborate?

Gravity fed is "better" but that really doesn't have squat to do with HVLP..... and I hope Classic chimes in here.

You can actually use a gravity fed updside down with a vacuum bag inside the container, but that's irrelevant for the purpose of my comment.

HVLP means High Volume Low Pressure. I said buy a real gun becuase the ones he bought are crap. I've used crap guns, and they piss me off. I've used expensive guns and they are more consistant, the adjustments actually adjust shit, and they just work better. Got to an online retailer and look at the price of some of the higher end guns, the name brand guns, Sharpe, Devilbiss, Sata, etc etc etc. They are starting @ $200 for the low end models and run upto $500, not $50 from Horror Freight. There is a reason for this.

bad new guys the motor i got was bad so i'm taking it back to LKQ tommarrow and will have to wait awhile to get another motor i think i might skip the middleman next time and just buy a T5 yea we still havent painte my freinds car and i doubt when we do we will use that gun

BAD NEWS: sadly guys she died on me. finally blew a colant seal at 207K miles

GOOD NEWS: i have bought another RX-7 this time a 86 non sunroof model.

i also bought a wood steeringwheel,tokico blues,Ground control coilover sleeves.
oh and a Holset HX35 external wastegate type for my motor biuld.

those will go on the 86 until i sell it and get a better DD and then they will be transfered to the 90.



oh BTW got a good job now. Boeing Aircraft Mechanic. scary isn't it LOL
