Rotary#10 Rotorhead Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: "the town " Oakland iTrader: (1) Posts: 219 Rep Power: 17	Fuel pump failure and a story of my life. Hey folks i have a 91 n/a s5. In san Jose my fuel pump dies... and the local member has a s4... so we put the s4 pump in my s5... surprising the car ran, a bit ruff at first but ok, now I can get home. Which is about 40 miles away... idrove about 50- 55 mph on the highway... the question is Do you think I've harmed my motor in anyway running with a S4 fuel pump? the check engine light popped up but disappeared when i let off the throttle.. ahhhh.. man that was a trip... __________________ Currently running: 90 GTUs converted to S5 TurboII. Track car. 90 N/A GTUs.. Running project car 89 N/A GTUs in Black #2 10/6/18 Blown coolant seal undergoing rebuild and restomod.
