"Holiday Laps, VIRginia International Raceway’s popular charity fund-raising event, arrives on Friday, November 14 a couple of weeks early for 2008. As always, fans and guests are allowed to drive the historic 3.27-mile road course for a donation of $25 in new toys, non-perishable foods or cash. "

So anyway, for 25 bucks a shot you get about 20 - 25 mins on the track behind a pace car. Now these aren't parade laps at 45mph nor are they at speed laps as in an HPDE. They're... somewhere in between. Really it depends on where you are in the pack and if you're following someone who doesn't know how to take corners but can put the pedal down on the straights... Anyway you look at it it's a lot of fun and for a good cause. We're also looking into getting a Mazda only session since it looks like we're going to have a pretty good turnout of RX-7 and RX-8 owners there.

So take next Friday off, get there EARLY (trust me!) and have some fun!!!
