My brother bought this car from Chad back in early March. It's no Gem but it does run. There are some carb problems and my brother is too faint of heart and light of wallet to get it fixed. When he bought the car it had sat for a long time and the carb was totally gummed up, there was no fuel getting to the bowls at all. We got it cleaned up quite a bit and at first it wouldn't idle but would run strong when you got in the gas and it would flood after a couple of minutes or so.. he tried to tweak it and now it will start and run but it falls on it's face when you try to give it gas unless you baby it... I'm suspecting the accelerator pump but, I dunno squat about carbs. These are the photos Chad took of the car before he sold it. It pretty well looks the same now except the adhesive has been cleaned off the windows and the stereo has been removed. Also, I think the door panels are missing or incorrect... I can't remember. Here is a link to Chads listing on the "evil forum" for reference. http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=717560

*EDIT* THERE IS NO TARGA BAND ON THE CAR!!!

*EDIT* There is a little rust near the bottom of the hatch that someone appears to have half assed repaired, the sunroof has been coated with a hard roll on type bed liner enamel(looks decent), the fiberglass wing on the back needs some minor repair, the mirrors are not original and the drivers side one has fallen off. Also, you should note that I have not personally seen this car for several weeks so it's condition may have changed since then.. you'll definitely want to go check it out before you make any commitments.

Unfortunately there's just not a lot of good I have to say about this poor neglected car... It does have a straight body and someone repainted it at one time so the paint looks pretty good aside from where the targa band was. The car does run and has a lot of potential for the right person. There's a relatively new muffler on her as you can see in pic 2 and there should be some new parts that my brother had purchased when trying to get the car moving (some carb rebuild parts and some parts from a carb we bought that was damaged in shipping).

*EDIT* Another note.. the power windows in the car were shot and the windows were taped up that's why there was adhesive all over the windows. Chad fixed this while he had the car by replacing the power regulators with manual ones. This is also why the door panels aren't on the doors IIRC.
