New bee from Cape Town South Africa
Hi I am a real fan of the Mazda Capella seen since i was born.My Dad traded his boy racer Ford Cortina MK2 GT in for the well loved family Capella series2.
It was a mustard yellow colour, think the code was YQ.It was unfortunately a 616 auto so that my MUM could drive it as well. She is a firm believer in modern technology i.e. hate changing gears. My parents drove that car for 20 year without any trouble. The Rx2 in SA was not to popular as it was in Aussy, but there was a number of them arround. The 616 Capella was more popular.Buy chance was looking for a vehicle to buy and found an origanal Rx2 not a capella with a 12a or 13b put into it. I just had to have this car. Spoke to the Minister of finance and she agreed after along and lengthy discussion I could get the car.I drive the car for about a month and crashed it into a high pavement due to unexpected rain. The cars front and rear left hand side chassis bent. There goes my dream car. The front cross member bolt broke off that attachers to the sway arm.The front and rear wheels bent. The rear drive shalft bent at the wheel. A very sad day for me. Its bean a month now still coming to grips with the injured car. |
