Still have our '89TII (Blaze Red) that we purchased new and when doing some research saw that Ted (RETed) did some posting on this Forum, so thought I would join. Was curious as to where he might be lurking and missed his informative answers.

Still have the car and after 26 years, it was time for a refresh. Wife was hit in the D/S door, damaging the door and side skirt Oct 2014. Picked up a '91TII (Blaze Red, minus engine/trans) back in 2001 and its been sitting in the pole shed since, so removed door and side skirt and prepped the car for finishing. Becoming lazy in my old age, it took some time to get the car to where I wanted it to be painted. Car hasn't been in the rain since 1992 so the body was actually like new, except for the front cover that was painted by Mazda when 3 mos. old and eventually cracked, so purchased new cover, new FTP lens, new O/S door handles and to the shop it went. The car was painted OEM Blaze Red and had 2 extra sets of side skirts, fender extensions and front spoilers also painted Blaze red.

Sorry for the long post, but just wanted to give a quick synopsis after 27 years.
