Unfortuneately, yes. Hence the sawz'all comment. I'll do whatever I have to... if it means i'll have to build a platform to get it off of the trailer. Done.
I think I'll have a good time with it... though I'm sure it isn't California legal. Florida has no emissions testing... or even safety inspections, so putting the standalone in wasn't an issue at all. All emissions stuff (and I mean all) is gone. A/C, power steering, and even the heater are also gone. The car never sees rain, and the top rarely goes up
The thing I need to do some research on is the whole antique or classic registration in Texas, which is where I plan to have it registered when my FL registration expires.
