Pressure plate maybe?

My car has eaten 3 clutch master cylinders in about 3000 miles of driving. Mostly easy street driving with a few passes down the track. But I always used junk yard masters and figured i had bad luck with used parts. So I recently bought a brand new master and got a new slave cylinder as well. I pumped a lot of fluid through it just to make sure the line was clean. It took a really long time to build up pressure when bleeding also. Much longer than usual. And still never really felt right.

Now it engages and disengages about one inch from the floor. Same as my last used master cylinder was doing when it started to go bad. But I know it is a good master this time, as well as the slave. There are no leaks in the line or where it connects to the master or slave either.

Could it be the pressure plate?

I'm open to ideas...
