417rotary's 2nd annual Eureka Springs scenic drive!
Well the time has come (granted a little later than I expected) for the 2nd annual 417rotary scenic drive to Eureka Springs!! Last year was a blast and I can only hope for the same this time around... So with out further ado, here are the details!
Springfield Crew: We are meeting at the Grizzly parking lot @ 8:30 am; on the north side of battlefield. In case you don't know where it's at here's the address: 1815 W. Battlefield Springfield, MO 65807. There's plenty of space and easy access for a bunch of cars. Departure time will be at 9:00 am and we will be heading towards the Sonic in Marionville to meet up with the Joplin Crew at around 9:30. The Sonic address is 60 W. Highway Marionville, MO 65705 Joplin Crew: Initially you will meet up at the Snak Attack on 44th St. in Joplin at 8:30 a.m. Here is the link for the location. Snak Attack Map Then you will depart from Joplin and the Springfield crew will be meeting you at the Sonic in Marionville @ 9:30 so you don't have to head to Springfield and then back track to Marionville. Departure time for all of us will be around 10:00 from Marionville and we will start the fun part of the drive to Eureka Springs! The Map Destination: Pied Piper in Eureka Springs I'm sure most of us will be hungry by the time we get there, twisties always seem to do that after a while :P The address is: 82 Armstrong St. Eureka Springs, AR 72632 Here is the menu After everyone has had their belly's filled we can take some time to walk around and enjoy some shopping or find a spot to take a group picture. Gregs wife is a professional photographer and will be taking pictures along the way through out the day. Having her around for the final group pictures is awesome and will definitely add that extra bit the club needs. We will play it by ear on what time everyone fills good to head home as there is a lot to see and do in Eureka Springs. In case you get separated or lost call these numbers: Chris (417) 631-3094 Kyle (417) 629-4561 Greg (417) 827-0274 Please do bring Walkie Talkies if you have them, they add and aid in the drive. Also as a reminder to all that being a "spirit" and being "spirited" are two different things. Corners are fun a little over the speed limit, especially if your vehicle can handle it. But don't feel the need to over work you and your cars abilities. It really takes the fun out of the drive when we spend half of it pulling cars out of ditches. Or worse pulling your body out of it instead. :geek: With that being said let's have some fun and I hope to see all you there!!!!! Also here is the flyer for any to print out and wants to spread the word! Click here for full image to print..... For those that have never attended our drives here are some pictures from a couple of our meets to get you an idea of what to expect! Nothing like seeing a ton of rotisseries behind and in front of you 8-) |
