I'm leaving from Murfreesboro (near Nashville) and going to Savannah on Memorial Day weekend. My plan was to leave around 3 est. which would put me in Atlanta around 6 or 630 est. Considering it would be on a Friday, would this put me in a traffic jam?
Google Maps has me going through Atlanta on 75 the whole way, but it looks like I could go around on 285 on the east side of Atlanta and it wouldn't be much farther. I can always alter my schedule some or stop early/late for food. Suggestions? ![]()
