Default Help Picking Tires

I picked up some new rims: 16x8 and 16x8.5 and I need some new tires on them. Currently they have 225/50 and 245/50 on them. The car is a weekend fun car so the mileage put on is limited. Thus far the highest performance tires I've found in those sizes or that would fit well on the rims are:

Falken Ziex ZE-512 ($90)
Kumho Ecsta ASX ($95)
Firestone Wide Oval Indy 500 ($115, buy 3 get 1 free)
Fuzion ZRi ($110)
Toyo T1R ($140)

Price is always a concern which makes me want to rule out the T1R. I've heard the Fuzion are decent but won't compare to the others. Currently I'm torn between the Indy 500s and ASX, but just found the 512s.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Other tires to include?

P.S. Apparently 16 inch tires are like the plague as there's not a lot of good choices.
