Lower LIM gasket/spacers

I'm going to have some spacers made for where the LIM bolts to the engine because my fuel rails press against each other (I have an equal length LIM and CJ Motorsports fuel kit). For more info about this, see this thread...

Anyway, I was planning on having it made out of aluminum but I wanted to check and see what you guys thought first. Can anyone think of a better material to use than aluminum? I'm going to use an OEM gasket on each side of the spacer too btw.
