Default GIZZMO LIM gasket

http://www.momentumgt.com/gizzmo-phe...996-p-903.html

I was wondering if anyone else has one of these. I got one not for the heat transfer aspect but to use it as a spacer because my fuel rails were pressing against each other. With this gasket I had the room I needed to keep the rails from touching, but it's not sealing all the way around. I only noticed one area where it was leaking but there could be more. I have no idea why it's leaking because it's not broken or cracked and the stock gasket sealed just fine.

I've thought about coating each side with some high temp RTV but I'm not sure it would work. Could I possibly get a spacer made of aluminum or something to use as a gasket as well?
