Done right, an Efan is a great mod. My MR2 fans do a great job of cooling the engine, better than the stock fan ever did. And it really frees up some power that you can feel in 1st and 2nd gears.

If you relocate the battery, are you putting it in the passenger's side storage bin (like you should)?

thats where mine is fits perfectly with the battery box. Ill take a picture of my bay sometime today since we both have se's and mines down to the simple things
