DGRR, imo:
I love seeing: lots of rotary powered cars all in one place all the different models in one place really nicely built cars different engine / interior setups I love hearing the purring, braping, screaming, an backfires of rotary engines. I love driving on the "tail of the dragon", the relentless switchback g's you get when driving through the 300+ curves. I love the scenery. My DGRR experiences: On my 1st trip, the 1st night, me an some buddy's went for a night run. It previously rained that day so the road was wet. I decided to go as passenger with one. There ended up being a bunch of frogs just sitting in the road. We must of ran over hundred frogs that night. By the end of the run I was sick. The rest of the weekend I was just amazed I guess, awesome event, defiantly returning. On my 2nd time up there I won a prize, an oil filter pedestal, yay! On my 3rd time up there I spun out(wtf) on a left-hand curve while getting away from an annoying tailgating lexis is300 but remained unscathed. Ive taken the same car up there all these years, '89 GTU. This will be my 4th time up there, I'm looking forward to it.
