the stock coils are prone to failure, and generally aren't strong enough to crank the car if there's a little too much fuel in the housings. The BHR coils have a stronger spark, so you'll never have to worry about flooding, or "pop reving" the car when you shut it off.
Flooding generally refers to excess fuel in the combustion chamber (in regard to cars).
