Simple Exhaust Questions

There's no "exhaust leak" noise from mine, but if you remove the clamps you can see where a little gas has escaped around 2-3% of the v-band

Do you see that same thing with the V-Band connection by the turbo and is this a normal occurrence with V-Band connections? I thought they were better all the way around in sealing off the exhaust and what not?
