Default Don't set up your AST and AST Elimination together.

Please don't do this!

I just saw this on the Iforge veilside car and I could tell the person didn't know much about rotaries.

Why do I say this is wrong?

He put AST elimination on and then route the line to an AST tank.

Why would this be bad?

First, you are putting pressure onto the system by the cap. Then the AST has a pressure cap. When the cap where filler cap used to be opens up air and liquid will move..... to AST. If the ast cap does not move, the air will be trapped inside. If the AST isn't completely full, the air will be pulled back in when the engine cools down.
There is a chance the AST cap will open up before the filler pressure cap. But that's unlikely.

Also, look at the point where the filler neck and ast is connected.. Yikes! Unless you fill up the AST to the top, you'll have problem sucking back air.

Bottomline, you don't need to DO BOTH! Do one or the other. Better yet, put a tank with connecting point way at the bottom. So, when air gets pushed out into the tank, it will flow to the top and when cools down, it will suck up liquid instead of air. The pic set up is just wrong.
