I just picked this up a few months ago, it has a total of maybe 10 hours running time on it. I'm selling because I don't really have the space to run it, most parking lots around here are ripped up and it gets boring running circles around the same lot all the time.
I have a lot of hop up parts on it, here's a mods list off the top of my head:
full ball bearing kit
adjustable aluminum oil filled dampers
all aluminum control arms
aluminum properller shaft
aluminum dobgone/half shafts
aluminum shims
ball bearing differentials
aluminum steering rack and tie rods
aluminum "knuckles" (wheel hubs)
aluminum motor heat sink
GT Tuned motor - 25 turn motor; 500 gf/cm torque @ 19,000 RPMs
2.2:1 ratio pinion gears (yes, very tall, however being an electric motor that doesn't really affect the off the line acceleration)
Carbon Graphite upper frame
Carbon Graphite bumper stopper
Front stabilizer bar
That's all I can think of at the moment.
The front stabilizer bar is attached to the upper frame, but is not attached to the control arms, since it's made for use with different control arms and I was torn between switching them out or welding a plate.
I've only run it once since the last time I tore it down for a complete cleaning, so it's a bit dirty, but not too bad.
I'm also including all of the original parts that I've replaced, the original box with instructions for assembly, as well as 2 7.2v Ni-MH batteries, a charger. Also Traxxas Radio and receiver.
The car is too fast for its own good, and has a bit of curb rash on the tires and a spot on the body. There are a few spots where the paint has flaked off, however that can easily be taped off and painted. Simply tape and spray bomb from the inside.
I'm awful at laying stickers, so you may also want to invest in a new sticker sheet and replace the ones that I put on. A full sticker sheet is maybe $30 tops.
Asking $500 OBO
Runs like a dream, attracts lots of attention and is fast as hell just like an FD should.
