Thumbs up Local help & Ideas...

Hi Folks,
Just joined here, and thought I toss this out to the world for your thoughts, guidance, etc. Been driving Gen one and Gen two Rx7's for many years now up here in Seattle. Currently have a '91 conv. Rx7, that has sat (ssadly) for many years awaiting it's v8 swap I really want to do. Call me stupid or insane, but I really want about 375hp in there, just to see how it'll do. Don't get me wrong - I'd love a twin turbo rotary - it's just that I know v8's well. Better than rotary's for sure. Before I get to the swap, I thought I'd look into fixing what I currently have for a year or two, while I build the v8 for install. Trouble is, the current mill needs seals and tranny, rear-end and almost everything mechanical needs lubing, working, fixing and re-doing of some degree as it's sat for about 8-10 years only running once or twice a year. And that's just in the parking lot. Anyone have knowledge of a good
rotary shop around the seattle parts? Perhaps even better, someone who is a skilled rotary and rx tech that has a home shop and/or partly in/out of the business, just doing it on the side? I can't afford alot, but can put consisten money into a (sort of) project car as it "comes back to life". Also - is there a section here for the swaped cars? Would like to start talking w/ them about the ups and downs about this (Course, I know Granny's speed shop is and hour and a half away) but emails faster, even if I am a leadfoot. Alternative idea was just to buy another running conv. and use it till the swap is done. Many thanks for ideas. Best - Graham
