No, that's basically the gist of it.
The hard part is getting a hand on that remote temp sensor. I dunno if it's possible to run everything without that temp sensor, of if the digital unit just barfs due to no sensor? It's going to be a lot of wire splicing, since the plugs are not even close to being identical in dimensions. -Ted
