This is my personal opinion..

$18K for 2004 8 with 16K miles is bit on the expensive side. I say this as factory warranty is 8 year 100K. So, you have 1 maybe 2 more year left until factory warranty runs out. If you bought aftermarket warranty, than I would definitely double check if they are reliable as it could later becoming headache to file and such.

For 18K, I would think you could pick up 2007 or later model with 30-50K on them... This would give you 3+ more factory warranty and 50+K miles.
