Default interior a/c removal??

well i had this up in my build thead but no one answered so thought i would ask here. i took of all a/c stuff and all interior a/c out so that includes my heater core (buy the way FS) any way i also took out the plastic piece in the middle and noticed that there is a tube that comes from my radiator that goes inside well i thought that i dont want coolant dropping all over my floor board so i was looking at the component tin the middle and noticed it had this radiator looking thing in it so i removed it and put it on but i wanted to see if this would work please let me kno if not will have to put the whole thing back on or is there something i can custom fabricate to make it work like this to where i wont have to have that big plastic piece? here is what i have done..
