That's about it in a nutshell. Here in NC for instance,..( Mecklenburg county,..Charlotte area) EVERY car has to be smogged that is year model 96' and newer. I have property in Polk County( Saluda, NC,..AKA: "The sticks") And NO cars need to be smogged at all. It has to due with population levels here in NC anyways.

If there is not a mass of people living in one area, it is not profitable for the states to make you get smogged. Do NOT be fooled: Smog has NOTHING to do with the enviorment. It's all about the bejamins baby!!

Intresting off topic fact about TN: It is illegal for women to drive a automobile!...UNLESS, her husband is running and yelling in front of the car, WHILE waving a red flag to warn oncomers of the impending doom. True fact. TN FTW!!!
