Default CPU water leak recall, horn, turn signals, warning system

I would think this is old news. I thought I saw a post that was relating to this issue.
RECALL #031/86 10/3/86
CPU Damage from Water Leak

Some early RX7's have had CPU damage caused by water leakage. Symptoms include:
  • erratic or no horn
  • erratic turn signal and emergency light operation
  • erratic or no 'beep' warning signals

Leakage occurs around a metal flange (upper left inner body under left fender)
Fix from Mazda:more sealant applied to area during production and protective coating added to inside of CPU.
Field fix; sealant applied to area, replace CPU if damaged beyond cleaning.

I have had to repair a few of these, I would think they have all been taken care of by now. Need to check CPU and fuse block for water damage also.

Is this area by the drivers door jamb where the door hinges mount? That's the only body rust spot I have and I am also experiencing the same issues.
Thanks

Yes, up and forward of the top hinge. On the guys I did you could see where it was by using a light from the outside then looking up inside.
