HELP!!!! JDM ecu AND n333 DIFFERENT???
i DONT GET IT. heres the setup. JDM s4 engine in a1988 rx7 vert. Runs perfect, pulls like a train. The sticker on the ecu that is in the car is faded out, no way of telling what it is. Im assuming its the ecu that came with the engine from japan, as the stock vert ecu is still in the car. SO, I decided to purchase an N333 from apex, great people. I plug it in, go for an easy ride, runs perfect BUT, wideband is reading 12.7 to 13.4!!!! With the jdm ecu, it read 10.8 to 11.6. WHATS UP?????????????

Uh, reprogrammed?
Open up the ECU, and I bet there's an aftermarket chip in there? -Ted |

I will have to do that!!! Someone also told me that my jdm engine could also be a 1987. They also told me the 87 uses low impedance injectors, and the 88 does not??? So the N333 wont work right?????

Also, on my passenger inner fender, is a small device with a tiny knob on it, has a double ended arrow, R one way, L the other direction. What is it, and is it stock on a turbo II?????

If the sticker on the EPROM is black with plain white lettering, it's stock. -Ted |
