I now own a TURBO...niceee

Ok so I traded my 00 Monte for this beast. 13b turboII 1988 RX-7, 125k original miles which is great for the year.

I'm new to the whole rotary engine and turbos, I consider everything I get a learning EXP.

I've gotten a lot of good advice from the guys over at 502SS. Is there anything someone wants to let me know about these cars? I used to own a 90 300zx so I'm not completely new to the whole scene, just these cars.

By the way, the lights aren't going up and down, is there a reason for this?

welcome, the light motors not working could be blown fuse or a bad switch. oh yeah it's a very fun car to drive.

I was hoping it was something simple like that, I'll have to check tomorrow. I just wasn't sure if it was a common thing on these cars for a motor or something to go bad.

So far is has lol thx =)

djmtsu will become famous soon enough
The headlight motors almost never go bad. Usually it is a switch, or a relay or fuse like already stated.

Looks to me like the previous owner was fond of the sleepy eye look. Might want to see if the relay is pulled, or the motors unplugged.
